Ordered end of March 2020. CEL came on and sure enough this solved the problem....until now. End of July CEL pops back on and sure enough it's the O2 sensor. My mechanic cleaned and checked everything he could think of that would cause it to go bad. After checking over everything (multiple VAGCOM tests, multimeter tests, etc.) the conclusion was that the sensor does unfortunately go bad sometimes. Pretty crappy when the warranty it only for 12 months and you're 4 months past that. Then you go to reorder and the price has gone up. Not saying this is ID's fault, just letting people know that sometimes a part can literally go right after the warranty is up even though the same part can also go 100s of 1000s of miles without ever an issue. Always check the manufacturer and seller's warranties when purchasing expensive parts. ID has always been upfront and great with that kind of stuff.
