Anti Shudder Valve, or ASV, solenoid for all VW TDI from model year 2000 onwards including: A4 chassis Jetta TDI, Golf TDI and New Beetle TDI, ALH and BEW engine codes, as well as all A5 Jetta TDI with BRM, CBEA or CJAA engine codes. See below for all years and model applications.

This valve is used on the A5 Jetta TDI as the N345 valve for the exhaust gas cooler (EGR cooler valve).

This ASV has a D-shaped connector, used on all A4 models year 2000 and later. If your ASV has a square-shaped connector you will need the Anti Shudder Valve Solenoid (N239 ASV) (Early A4) - 1J0906283A.
